The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) celebrated its Foundation Day on April 6 with great enthusiasm and participation at the district BJP office. A large number of party workers attended the programme organized to mark the occasion.

Flag Hoisting and Tribute to Party Ideologues

The programme began with flag hoisting and the singing of Vande Mataram. Senior party leaders hoisted the party flag and paid tribute to the founding ideologues and pioneers of the organization. On the occasion, BJP leaders reiterated their commitment towards service, good governance, and national interest.

Addressing a seminar organized during the event, senior BJP leader Khoobchand Parkh said that the seed of nationalism sown in 1951 has today grown into a massive banyan tree across the country. He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is steadily progressing on the path of development.

He emphasized that BJP is the only political party that works on the principle of “Nation First” rather than personal interest. Parkh reminded party workers that BJP was formed on April 6, 1980, and has today become the world’s largest political party due to the dedication of its workers. He described the party’s journey not merely as a political movement but as a continuous ideological stream dedicated to nation-building.

Call for Service and Organizational Strength

Parkh urged party workers to work with dedication, service spirit, and organizational commitment to take the party’s policies and schemes to every section of society.

MLA representative Santosh Agrawal, while extending greetings to party workers and office-bearers, said BJP is rooted in the ideology of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Integral Humanism, the nationalist vision of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, and the democratic governance principles of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He added that these ideals continue to provide ideological direction to the organization.

BJP’s Growth Attributed to Workers’ Dedication

District President Komal Singh Rajput stated that BJP has emerged as the largest political party in the world due to the hard work, dedication, and national commitment of its workers. Reiterating the party’s core mantra—Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas—he said BJP remains committed to the development of the nation and society.

He appealed to party workers to actively ensure that welfare schemes of the Central and State governments reach the common people.

Senior leaders Suresh H. Lal and Yogesh Dutt Mishra also addressed the gathering. The programme was conducted by Bhavesh Baid, while BJP Vice-President Tarun Laherwani delivered the vote of thanks.

Several party leaders and workers including Sachin Singh Baghel, Ramesh Patel, Ashok Chaudhary, Prakash Sankhla, District General Secretary Saurabh Kothari, Bunty Lal, Rohit Chandrakar, Purnima Sahu, Rekha Meshram, along with mandal-level office-bearers and workers, were present at the event.
