Farmer registration is currently underway in Rajnandgaon district under the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-AASHA) scheme’s Price Support Scheme (PSS) through the Integrated Farmer Portal and the e-Samriddhi portal. The initiative aims to ensure that eligible farmers receive Minimum Support Price (MSP) benefits for their agricultural produce through a transparent and digitized procurement system.

Under the scheme, farmers are being registered for the Kharif Marketing Season 2025–26 crops, including arhar (pigeon pea), moong (green gram), urad (black gram), groundnut, and soybean, as well as for the Rabi Marketing Season 2026–27 crops such as gram (chana), lentil (masoor), and mustard (sarson).

District authorities have notified 15 procurement centers operated by primary agricultural cooperative societies along with one Farmer Producer Organization (FPO), Swarn Upaj Mahila Kisan Producer Company Limited, Sukuldaihan, for procurement activities. The notified centers include Ghumka, Padumtara, Somni, Chhuria, Kumarda, Gaindatola, Gahirabhedi, Dongargaon, Tumdibod, Kokpur, Khursipar, Dongargarh Achholi, Musra, Mohara, and Lal Bahadur Nagar.

Deputy Director Agriculture Tikam Singh Thakur informed that to enhance transparency, the digital crop survey (Girdawari) system has been linked with the integrated portal. Farmers must complete registration at their nearest notified cooperative procurement center through the e-Samriddhi or Integrated Farmer Portal before bringing produce for sale.

Officials have advised farmers to ensure proper cleaning and grading of produce before arrival at procurement centers to meet the Fair Average Quality (FAQ) standards set by the government. Quality assessment will be conducted using moisture meters and electronic weighing systems to ensure accurate procurement.

Farmers can apply through their local Rural Agriculture Extension Officers by submitting required documents, including loan booklet, land records (B-1 and P-2), Aadhaar card, and bank passbook copies, at the concerned cooperative societies.

Under the scheme, procurement will be carried out by the central nodal agency National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) at MSP rates fixed by the government. The MSP rates include ₹5,328 per quintal for soybean, ₹8,000 per quintal for arhar, ₹5,875 per quintal for gram, ₹7,000 per quintal for lentil, and ₹6,200 per quintal for mustard.

Authorities stated that the online registration and procurement process for pulses and oilseeds under the Price Support Scheme will ensure direct payment of MSP to farmers’ bank accounts. The initiative is expected to play a significant role in expanding the pulses and oilseed cultivation area while improving farmers’ income in the district.
