Prominent Rajnandgaon Citizen Shri Ramkrishna Tiwari Passes Away at 89

Last Rites Performed at Lakhola Muktidham; Large Gathering of Relatives and Well-Wishers Pays Final Respects

Shri Ramkrishna Tiwari, a well-known and respected resident of Mahesh Nagar, Rajnandgaon, passed away on Monday night at 8:15 pm at the age of 89. His demise has cast a pall of gloom over the city, with people from various walks of life expressing deep condolences to the bereaved family.

He was the father of Hemant Tiwari and Rajesh Tiwari, who are associated with the social service organisation Udayachal and Aastha Mookbadhir School, and elder brother of retired ADGP Anand Tiwari, along with Harikrishna, Balkrishna, Purushottam, and Deepak Tiwari.

His final journey commenced on Tuesday at 3:15 pm from his Mahesh Nagar residence, during which a large number of relatives, close associates, and prominent citizens accompanied the procession. The last rites were performed at Lakhola Muktidham, where he was consigned to the five elements amid traditional rituals.

A condolence meeting was organised at Muktidham, where Udayachal President Rajendra Bafna, Mahesh Nagar Housing Society President Suresh H. Lal, Rajnandgaon Gaud Brahmin Samaj President Vijay Phatak, Chhattisgarh Parik Samaj President Mukesh Parik (Raipur), and close family associate Inderchand Kothari paid heartfelt tributes and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

The gathering concluded with collective recitation of five Gayatri Mantras, as attendees offered floral tributes and observed a moment of silence in memory of Shri Ramkrishna Tiwari.

Life-Support Devices Camp Organised for Senior Citizens Across Rajnandgaon

Under the guidance of Collector Jitendra Yadav, the Social Welfare Department Rajnandgaon, in collaboration with ALIMCO, organised life-support device assessment and identification camps across all development blocks.
