SP Ankita Sharma hoists the tricolour as officers and staff join in patriotic celebrations across district police units

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic fervour at the Superintendent of Police Office in Rajnandgaon on Sunday.
On the occasion, Superintendent of Police Ms Ankita Sharma (IPS) hoisted the National Flag at the SP Office premises and extended Republic Day greetings to all officers and staff present. The ceremony reflected a spirit of unity and commitment to public service.
The programme was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police Mr Kirtan Rathore, Additional Superintendent of Police Mr Pushpendra Nayak, City Superintendent of Police Ms Vaishali Jain, City Superintendent of Police Mr Alexander Kiro, City Superintendent of Police Ms Manjulata Baj, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Mr KP Markam, along with officials and personnel from DSB, DCB, DCRB, Naxal Cell, Telecommunications Branch, and the Superintendent of Police Office.

In continuation of the celebrations, Republic Day was also observed with full honour and pride at all police stations and outposts across the district, where flag-hoisting ceremonies were conducted, reaffirming the police department’s dedication to constitutional values and public service.
