According to temple priests Sharad and Komal Tanwar, the Magh Fair will commence on January 20 at 5 am with a traditional Prabhat Pheri. The devotional procession will begin from the temple, pass through various parts of the city, and return to the shrine, followed by a special early-morning aarti of Baba Ramdev Ji. The serene atmosphere of dawn, winter chill and collective prayers of devotees is expected to create a deeply spiritual experience, with around 50 to 100 devotees participating.

On the first day afternoon, Yajmans will perform a ceremonial milk abhishek of Baba Ramdev Ji, followed by the grand decoration of the Samadhi Temple. The elaborate shrine adornment usually attracts a large number of devotees, particularly on the first two days of the fair.

Throughout the fair, local bhajan mandalis will perform devotional songs and kirtans during the day as well as at night, maintaining the long-standing religious traditions associated with the Magh Mela.

The fair will conclude on January 29, a day when a large number of devotees observe fasts and visit the temple for darshan of Baba Ramdev Ji.

A major highlight of this year’s Magh Fair will be the Jamma Jagran by Ramniwas Rao from Bikaner, Rajasthan. Presented in an authentic Marwari style, the devotional night dedicated to Baba Ramdev is expected to be a key attraction, generating enthusiasm among devotees well in advance.

The temple priests have appealed to all devotees and Baba Ramdev followers to participate in the 10-day Magh Fair and experience its spiritual and cultural significance.
