Environmental tribute held at Tirth Nirvana under blessings of Jain saints; former minister Khubchand Parakh graces the occasion

In a solemn celebration of the 57th Diksha Anniversary of Acharya Shri 1008 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, a special tree plantation drive was held at Tirth Nirvana near Thakurtola in Rajnandgaon district. The occasion, observed on the auspicious Panchami of Ashadh Shukla Paksha, witnessed the plantation of 57 sacred and medicinal trees as a mark of reverence and ecological responsibility.
The event was organized under the spiritual guidance of Shri 105 Aryika Ganinipramukh, Vani Siddhidatri Saubhagyamati Mataji, the visionary behind Shri Saubhagyam Tirth. The drive took place with the blessings of Lord Munisubratnath Bhagwan and was graced by the esteemed presence of former Cabinet Minister of Chhattisgarh, Khubchand Parakh, as chief guest.

Dignitaries present at the event included Shri Santosh Kala, Manish Sogani, Manish Badjatya, Subodh Chhabra, Sudhesh Jain (Dhamsaiya), Rakesh Jain (Dhamsaiya), Ashok Jhanjhri, Vicky Jhanjhri, Sandeep Lohadia, Sanjeev Kasliwal, and representatives from Adarsh Mahila Mandal Rajnandgaon. Also in attendance were councilor Ranu Jain, former Leader of Opposition Kishun Yadu, and noted social worker Nemichand Baid Jain, among other prominent community members.
The plantation included a diverse range of species such as neem, jamun, bay leaf (tejpaan), maulshree, mango, and ashok trees, with a special emphasis on medicinal varieties, symbolizing health, growth, and sustainability.
Organizers emphasized that the drive was not only a tribute to the revered Acharya but also a commitment to nurturing the environment in alignment with Jain principles of non-violence and ecological balance.
