BJP North Mandal Organises Tree Plantation at Atal Complex, Vardhman Nagar under Seva Pakhwada

On the occasion of Seva Pakhwada, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) North Mandal organised a tree plantation programme today at Atal Complex, Vardhman Nagar, under the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A Tree in Mother’s Name).

The programme commenced with floral tributes to the statue of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This was followed by a massive plantation drive.

The event witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders including BJP senior leader & former State Vice President Khubchand Parakh, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, State Vice President & former MLA from Dongargarh Ramji Bharti, BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, District Cooperative Central Bank President Sachin Singh Baghel, senior leader Ashok Chaudhary, Municipal Corporation Chairman Paras Verma, former Mandal President Mukesh Baghel, Atul Raizada, Tarun Lahrwani, former Mandal General Secretary Hakim Khan, senior corporator & former Leader of Opposition Shiv Verma, MIC Chairman Sawan Verma, Sunil Sahu, BJYM District President Monu Bahadur Singh, BJYM Mandal Presidents Sajjan Singh Thakur and Prakhar Srivastava, senior leader Raghubir Wadhwa, corporators, Dr. Sandeep Bhattacharya, Rajendra Jain (Bantu), Mrs. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Tejmala Deshmukh, Mrs. Sarita Uike, programme in-charge Mrs. Prema Sonkar, Pankaj Kunjrekar, Ashu Dahariya, Ward Corporator Mrs. Rekha Abhay Parakh, along with office bearers of Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha, executive members, and a large number of workers.

Local citizens and party workers enthusiastically participated in planting a variety of saplings. The speakers highlighted that, inspired by the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Seva Pakhwada is being observed across the nation through various social service and welfare activities. Plantation drives such as this are not only a pledge to protect the environment but also a true reflection of the spirit of “Seva Hi Sangathan” (Service is Organisation).

BJP North Mandal President Sumeet Singh Bhatia expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and participants, stating—
“Tree plantation is not merely a pledge to save the environment but also an expression of a mother’s love and our duty towards the Earth. Seva Pakhwada gives us the message that every worker of the organisation should always be at the forefront of social service and nation-building. The BJP family will continue its efforts to make this campaign a mass movement.”
