Three-Day Kartik Purnima Fair to Be Held at Mohara Shivnath Riverbank from November 4 to 6

Municipal Commissioner Assigns Responsibilities to Ensure Smooth Arrangements

The annual Kartik Purnima fair at the Mohara Shivnath riverbank will be organized this year on November 4, 5, and 6. Ahead of the event, Mayor Shri Madhusudan Yadav and Municipal Commissioner Shri Atul Vishwakarma recently inspected the fairground to review the preparations and necessary public facilities to be provided by the Municipal Corporation. The Commissioner has also assigned duty shifts to officials and staff to ensure smooth execution of the fair.

To finalize arrangements, a meeting was held under the direction of the Mayor, attended by Shivnath Regional Development Committee President Shri D.C. Jain, office bearers, SDM Shri Gautam Patil, Basantpur Police Station In-charge Shri Hemant Sahu, Executive Engineer Shri Deepak Khande, Assistant Executive Engineer Shri Pranay Meshram, and officials designated for the fair duties.

Commissioner Shri Vishwakarma instructed officials to ensure secure barricading along the riverbank and maintain uninterrupted electricity, drinking water, and sanitation throughout the three-day event. He directed that additional lighting be installed where necessary to ensure the entire venue remains well illuminated. He further instructed the water supply team to expand pipeline coverage and install stand posts to facilitate drinking water availability.

The health and sanitation department was advised to maintain cleanliness and ensure vendors avoid the use of prohibited plastic materials, while dustbins are placed and used properly. The revenue team has been directed to layout vendor stalls on both sides of the fairground and monitor arrangements daily.

Nodal Officer for the Mohara Fair, Executive Engineer Shri Deepak Khande (Mob. 79993 94145), and Overall Arrangement In-charge, Assistant Executive Engineer Shri Pranay Meshram (Mob. 83197 26288), have been assigned responsibility for coordinating fair arrangements. They will be assisted by Smt. Garima Verma (Mob. 97705 19691), Shri Tilkar Raj Dhruv (Mob. 99070 02411), Shri Hitesh Thakur (Mob. 99938 42086), and Shri Kishan Gavre (Mob. 88896 53352).

Sanitation arrangements will be led by Sanitation Inspector Shri Deepak Srivastava (Mob. 70006 70033), with support from Assistant Sanitation Inspector Shri Pawan Kurre (Mob. 75873 35587) and Shri Sapan Sahu (Mob. 62629 81724). Drinking water arrangements will be overseen by Sub-Engineer Shri Anum Pandey (Mob. 74705 47099). Support staff and officials will also work in two shifts each day to ensure smooth operation throughout the fair.
