Rajnandgaon District Hospital has become the first hospital in Chhattisgarh to receive the FSSAI 5-Star Eat Right Campus certification, valid from September 2, 2026, to September 1, 2028.

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh inaugurated the plinth upgradation and elevation expansion work of Rajnandgaon District Hospital and performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) office building. He emphasized the need for Rajnandgaon to continue leading the state in healthcare services and praised ongoing efforts to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh flagged off new 108 Sanjeevani Express ambulances in Rajnandgaon, calling the expansion a major step toward strengthening emergency healthcare services across Chhattisgarh.

Collector Jitendra Yadav carried out a surprise inspection of Rajnandgaon District Hospital, reviewed facilities, interacted with patients, and directed immediate action against absent doctors while emphasizing better hygiene and timely completion of ongoing works.
