District Panchayat CEO Suruchi Singh conducted surprise inspections in three Rajnandgaon villages, directing immediate action on pending housing works, cleanliness drives, and timely completion of key infrastructure projects.

The Mohla district administration has launched the Bori Bandhan programme under the Mor Gaon–Mor Pani campaign, completing water conservation works in over 30 streams. The final rehearsal will be held on August 13 at 8:40 AM, while a Freedom Run is scheduled for August 14 at 7:20 AM. Singh emphasized adopting e-file operations in all departments and reviewed preparations for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. She also instructed departments to gear up for the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee celebrations, marking 25 years of statehood, with events such as exhibitions, nutrition fairs, and awareness programs. Officials also discussed the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and upcoming camps for issuing income, caste, and residence certificates across villages starting August 20.

The District Panchayat Rajnandgaon held a General Administration meeting led by Chairperson Mrs. Kiron Ravindra Vaishnav. Key topics included water conservation, agricultural schemes, road construction, and the "One Nation, One Election" proposal.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of District Panchayat, Ms. Suruchi Singh, conducted a detailed review of the ongoing Su-ashasan Tihar and the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) - Rural, through video conferencing. During the meeting, she provided essential directions to relevant officials on completing surveys and applications for various welfare schemes. Additionally, she emphasized improving water conservation efforts, particularly the recharge shafts, and the integration of women into the Sangam Abhiyan under the National Rural Livelihood Mission. A special focus was placed on ensuring timely completion of all ongoing projects, including the Swachh Bharat Mission initiatives.
