SVAMITVA Scheme Expands Property Rights for Rural Families in Rajnandgaon

Final Publication Completed in 495 Villages; Nearly 54,673 Property Records Prepared Across the District

The SVAMITVA Scheme is progressing rapidly in Rajnandgaon .district, providing rural families living in populated areas with formal documentation of their property rights. Under the guidance of Collector Jitendra Yadav, significant progress has been recorded in the preparation of property records and completion of final publication under the scheme.

Of the 643 villages in the district, the final publication process has so far been completed in 495 villages, with nearly 54,673 property rights records prepared in these villages.

Final Publication Expands from 13 to 495 Villages

The district has recorded substantial progress in the implementation of the SVAMITVA Scheme over the past year.

As of October 1, 2025, final publication had been completed in only 13 villages, with property rights records prepared for those villages. The number has now increased to 495 villages.

This means that final publication has been completed in 482 additional villages within one year, marking significant progress in documenting property rights in rural areas.

Property Records Provide Documentary Basis

The SVAMITVA Scheme is an important initiative aimed at systematically documenting property in rural populated areas.

Through the scheme, records of properties are prepared, providing a documentary basis for ownership. The preparation of property rights records also makes property-related documents more organised and authentic, facilitating various activities associated with property ownership.

The completion of final publication in 495 out of the district’s 643 villages represents a significant milestone in the implementation of the scheme.

Work Continues in Remaining Villages

The process is continuing in the remaining villages in accordance with the prescribed procedures. The district administration is continuously monitoring the implementation of the SVAMITVA Scheme and working towards providing property rights records to an increasing number of rural families.

The progress is aimed at strengthening documentary records of rural properties and providing eligible families with formal records of their property rights.
