Sushaasan Tihar 2026: Public Grievance Redressal Camp Held in Gopalpur, Villagers Benefit from Government Welfare Schemes

Under the ongoing Good Governance Festival (Sushasan Tihar) 2026, a Public Grievance Redressal Camp was organized at Gram Panchayat Gopalpur in Dongargaon development block of Rajnandgaon district. The camp witnessed active participation from villagers and government officials, facilitating prompt resolution of public grievances and delivery of welfare benefits.

The event was attended by District Panchayat President Mrs. Kiran Vaishnav, Janpad Panchayat Rajnandgaon President Mr. Sanjay Sinha, and Collector Mr. Jitendra Yadav. During the camp, Collector Yadav personally interacted with citizens, listened to their concerns, and directed concerned departmental officials to ensure timely redressal of issues.

The camp catered to residents from 15 Gram Panchayats, including Bharritola, Aanko, Buchatola, Gopalpur, Keshotola, Khobha, Lammeta, Patekohra, Pendridih, Ranitalab, Sadak Chirchari, and Telinbandha. A total of 1,092 applications related to public demands and grievances were received, comprising 1,079 demand applications and 13 complaint applications. Authorities took immediate action to resolve applications that were eligible for on-the-spot disposal.

As part of the welfare outreach initiative, eligible beneficiaries received assistance under various government schemes. Beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) were presented with congratulatory letters. New ration cards were distributed to eligible families, while self-help groups received loan cheques to strengthen their economic activities.

The administration also distributed Social Security Pension benefits, sanitation material kits, and appreciation certificates to meritorious students. In addition, the Women and Child Development Department organized a traditional God Bharai (baby shower) ceremony for pregnant women and distributed nutrition kits aimed at combating malnutrition among mothers and children.

Various government departments, including Panchayat, Revenue, Agriculture, Health, and Women & Child Development, actively participated in the camp and provided information about ongoing welfare schemes and public services.

The event was attended by District Panchayat Member Mrs. Biram Mandavi, Janpad Panchayat Vice-President Mr. Prashant Thakur, Janpad Members Mr. Bhesh Bhai Sahu, Mrs. Sunita Kanwar, Mrs. Bhan Bai Mandavi, Mrs. Uttara Nishad, Mr. Ubheram Ram Mandavi, Mrs. Radhika Chandravanshi, Mr. M.D. Thakur, Mr. Chandrika Prasad Dadsena, Mr. Ravindra Vaishnav, and Mr. Kanta Sahu.

Senior administrative officials including ADM C.L. Markandey, Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma, SDM Shrikant Koram, Tahsildar Akanksha Sahu, and CEO Hori Lal Sahu were also present, along with a large number of villagers, public representatives, and government employees.

The camp reflected the state government’s commitment to bringing governance closer to citizens and ensuring quick access to welfare services in rural areas.
