Motorised tricycle provided under Sushasan Tihar brings mobility, confidence and renewed hope for education

When determination meets government support, even the toughest obstacles fail to stop dreams. The story of Anil Kumar, a resident of village Nagpura under Kota development block of Bilaspur district, stands as a testimony to this transformation. Through the Sushasan Tihar initiative, a motorised tricycle has not only reduced the distance Anil had to struggle through every day but has also given wings to his confidence and aspirations.
A Challenging Journey Towards Education
Anil Kumar, a Class 12 student, carries a strong desire to pursue education despite 70 percent disability. However, his school is located nearly 12 kilometres away from his home. Covering such a long distance daily, navigating rough roads and depending on others for transportation posed serious challenges to his studies.
His family members constantly remained worried about his safety and accessibility, as reaching school itself had become a major hurdle affecting his academic progress.
Immediate Relief at Solution Camp
The Sushasan Tihar Solution Camp organized at Banabel proved to be a turning point in Anil’s life. During the camp, Anil presented his difficulties before officials.
Demonstrating sensitivity and prompt action, the administration resolved his application on the spot and provided him with a motorised tricycle, ensuring immediate assistance.
A New Smile of Self-Reliance
The moment Anil received the keys to the tricycle, his face reflected the pride of becoming self-reliant. He can now independently drive to school without depending on anyone else and reach classes on time.
Earlier, simply reaching school was the biggest challenge, often affecting his studies. Now my difficulties have become easier, Anil Kumar said, expressing heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for giving new momentum to his dreams.
