The campaign includes verification of voters’ names, addresses, ages and other details, along with the registration of eligible citizens, necessary corrections and deletion of names wherever required, following the prescribed procedure.
During the campaign, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will remain available at their respective polling stations every Wednesday and Thursday. Citizens can submit applications for new voter registration, corrections to existing entries and deletion of names, as applicable.
Collector Appeals to Citizens to Verify Electoral Details
Collector and District Election Officer Jitendra Yadav has appealed to all citizens to verify their names and those of all eligible family members in the electoral roll.
He urged residents to submit applications through the prescribed procedure if their names are missing or if there are errors in their names, addresses or other particulars.
The Collector also called upon citizens to participate actively in the special campaign and cooperate with the administration in ensuring that the electoral roll remains accurate and up to date.

Awareness Drive in Schools and Colleges
As part of the campaign, awareness activities are being conducted in schools and colleges in the Khujji Assembly constituency to encourage young people to register as voters.
At the Government Higher Secondary School in Umarwahi, students aged above 17 were informed about the process of getting their names included in the electoral roll.
BLOs from polling stations Nos. 259, 260, 261 and 263 distributed Form 6 to the students. After the forms are completed, the concerned BLOs will undertake the subsequent process through the BLO app.
The initiative aims to familiarise prospective voters with the registration process and encourage them to take the necessary steps to enrol themselves in the electoral roll when eligible.
Citizens Can Contact Election Registration Officials
The District Election Office has urged citizens to check their electoral details within the stipulated campaign period. If assistance is required, they may contact the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) or Booth Level Officer (BLO).
The electoral roll is a fundamental component of the democratic system. Ensuring that every eligible citizen is registered and that the information recorded is accurate and updated is essential.
The district-wide campaign seeks to strengthen the accuracy of the voter list by encouraging citizens to verify their details and complete the required registration or correction process within the prescribed timeline.
