Angan Milan Programme Held in Hira Moti Ward; Anganwadi Workers, Helpers and Mitanin Didis Honoured

An Angan Milan programme was organised at the Anganwadi building in Hira Moti Ward No. 39 under the Seva Sankalp Campaign, where Anganwadi workers, helpers and Mitanin Didis were honoured.
A large number of women from the ward participated in the programme and shared information about the benefits they had received under various public welfare schemes. The participating women also expressed their gratitude to the government for the benefits provided through these schemes.
Ravi Sinha: Welfare Schemes Must Reach Every Eligible Woman
Addressing the programme, Hira Moti Ward Councillor Ravi Sinha said the effectiveness of government welfare schemes depends on ensuring that their benefits reach women and needy families at the grassroots level.
He said the Seva Sankalp Campaign was aimed at ensuring that every eligible woman in Ward No. 39 receives the benefits of schemes and services to which she is entitled.
Sinha also highlighted the role of Anganwadi workers, helpers and Mitanin Didis in taking government schemes and services to households. He said their contribution is important for the health, nutrition, safety and dignity of women and children.
He added that similar public-service programmes would continue to be organised in the ward.
Women Briefed on Welfare and Health Schemes
Sunita Sonpipare, supervisor from the Women and Child Development Department, provided detailed information about schemes and departmental programmes being implemented for the protection and development of women.
Jyoti Sinha from the Health Department briefed women about various health-related schemes and available healthcare services.
During the programme, women from the ward shared their experiences and the benefits they had received through government schemes. The participants thanked the government for efforts to take welfare schemes to the people.
Toys Distributed Among Children
A special initiative was also undertaken for children attending the Anganwadi. Kanti Sinha distributed toys among the children.
The children were visibly happy after receiving the toys, adding an enjoyable element to the programme.
Ward Representatives and Residents Attend
Former Councillor Balwant Sao, Karuna Rajput, Ajay Srivastava, Savita Bose, Kanti Sinha, Anganwadi workers and helpers, and Mitanin Didis Lalita Yadav, Sharda Sarathi, Kamini Sarathi and Varsha Sahu were present.
Anganwadi workers Archana Sarathi, Sangeeta Yadav, Sumitra Dewangan and Ramashwari Dewangan, along with a large number of women and residents of the ward, also attended the programme.
