In a concerted effort to ensure effective governance and public service delivery, district in-charge secretary and Commissioner of Land Records, Mr. Avinash Champawat, held a comprehensive review meeting with district-level officials at the Collectorate Conference Hall on Monday. The meeting was organized to assess the progress of Su-Shasan Tihar 2025, a state-wide initiative aimed at addressing public grievances and ensuring benefits of government schemes reach the grassroots.

Also present at the meeting were Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, In-charge Superintendent of Police Mr. Y.P. Singh, CEO Zila Panchayat Ms. Suruchi Singh, and other key administrative and departmental heads.

Addressing the officials, Mr. Champawat emphasized that every department must work in alignment with the state government’s vision of good governance. He stated that planned and systematic approaches are essential to solve the problems of the public, especially in rural and remote areas. “Officers must act in a mission mode to resolve issues raised by citizens, ensuring timely redressal and transparency in implementation,” he said.

Highlighting the public response, Collector Dr. Bhure informed that under Su-Shasan Tihar, a total of 1,27,659 applications have been received from across the district. Out of these, 1,24,202 applications pertain to public demands, while 3,357 are complaints. So far, 84,129 applications have been resolved, a majority of which relate to schemes such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), Ujjwala Yojana, and social security pensions.

Mr. Champawat underscored the importance of ensuring widespread benefits of flagship schemes like the Ayushman Bharat Health Card and the Ayushman Vay Vandana Pension Card. He reviewed the progress of claims under these schemes and instructed health officials to maximize their outreach. He also stressed the importance of accurate e-KYC and Aadhaar integration to maintain beneficiary records and ensure uninterrupted access to welfare benefits.

He directed officials to conduct awareness campaigns and provide scheme-related information during camps organized under Su-Shasan Tihar. On seasonal challenges, he instructed the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) to ensure the availability of drinking water during the summer months, especially under the Jal Jeevan Mission.

Mr. Champawat also discussed agricultural planning and advised officers to promote crop diversification. He encouraged efforts to shift farmers toward millets, soybean, maize, and mustard cultivation, offering better returns and sustainable farming practices. He further reviewed status reports on road construction, school rationalization, hostels, and health camps, and issued instructions to streamline services for the public.

Collector Bhure shared updates on the Swamitva Yojana, under which 739 property records have been distributed to rural residents. He also highlighted progress in mapping, partition, and revenue case resolution. In terms of infrastructure, he shared updates on major projects like Nalanda and Atal Parishads, the Amrit Mission, and the Parikrama Path, all aligned with the district’s development goals.

CEO Zila Panchayat Ms. Suruchi Singh elaborated on PMAY (Gramin) efforts and shared that a survey is being conducted for those applicants who requested housing during Su-Shasan Tihar. After verification, eligible families will be included in the upcoming housing targets. She also briefed the forum on progress made under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), particularly on Lakhpati Didi and bank linkage programs.

The meeting concluded with a directive that all district-level officials should work in coordination and adhere to the guidelines issued by the state government, ensuring maximum citizen benefit from every scheme.
