Ropeway Mishap at Dongargarh Injures BJP Leaders Including Ramsevak Paikara and Bharat Verma

A minor mishap occurred today at the Dongargarh ropeway when a trolley carrying senior BJP leaders, including former Chhattisgarh Home Minister and BJP State President Ramsevak Singh Paikara, collided with the landing platform just seconds before coming to a halt. The incident took place shortly after the leaders completed their visit to the revered Maa Bamleshwari temple.

BJP State General Secretary Bharat Verma, Temple Trust Committee Chairman Manoj Agrawal, and former MLA Vinod Khandekar were among those accompanying Paikara. The sudden jolt caused the occupants to collide inside the trolley, resulting in minor injuries to Paikara and Agrawal, while Bharat Verma suffered injuries to his shoulder and neck.

Following the incident, Verma was initially treated at Sanjeevani Hospital in Rajnandgaon and underwent further diagnostic tests at Vidhi Diagnostics. He was later referred to Raipur for advanced treatment. BJP leaders and local supporters rushed to the hospital and later accompanied Verma to Raipur. His condition has been reported as stable.
