The statewide strike of cooperative societies in Chhattisgarh has finally come to an end, raising hopes that paddy procurement operations will soon return to normal. Following the conclusion of the strike, cooperative society employees met former president Sachin Baghel and District Collector Jitendra Yadav, assuring them of the smooth and uninterrupted functioning of paddy procurement centres.
Over the past several days, the strike had led to widespread disruptions in the procurement system across the state. Many centres reported slowed operations, causing farmers to face difficulties in selling their produce. The delays had triggered growing concern among farmers as the pace of procurement weakened.

Now, with the strike officially withdrawn, employees have conveyed confidence to the administration that farmers will no longer face inconvenience and that procurement processes will continue as usual. Collector Jitendra Yadav directed officials and staff to ensure that no farmer is made to wait unnecessarily and that all arrangements at procurement centres remain efficient and fully operational.
The end of the strike has brought a sense of relief among farmers, who are optimistic that procurement activities will soon be completely back on track.
