In a heartfelt display of solidarity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a beeline for Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital immediately after landing in Delhi from his two-day state visit to Bhutan, personally meeting and consoling those injured in the devastating car blast near the historic Red Fort.
The Prime Minister, visibly moved, interacted with the survivors, inquired about their well-being, and wished them a speedy recovery. He was briefed by doctors and hospital officials on the patients’ conditions and ongoing treatment protocols. Heavy security arrangements were in place during the visit, underscoring the gravity of the incident.

Sharing photographs from the hospital on social media, PM Modi posted: “Went to LNJP Hospital and met those injured during the blast in Delhi. Praying for everyone’s quick recovery. Those behind the conspiracy will be brought to justice!” The message has resonated widely, garnering support from across the nation.
The high-intensity explosion, which ripped through a slow-moving Hyundai i20 car at a traffic signal near Red Fort Metro Station Gate No. 1 on November 10 evening, claimed at least 12-13 lives and left over 20 people critically injured. Investigators suspect it was a planned terror attack, with the National Investigation Agency (NIA) taking over the probe under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Raids across Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir have uncovered explosives and potential links to terror modules.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had visited the hospital earlier, and PM Modi is scheduled to chair a high-level Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) meeting at 5:30 PM today to review the situation.
As the nation mourns the loss and prays for the injured, the Prime Minister’s prompt visit has been hailed as a reassuring gesture amid rising concerns over security in the capital. The investigation continues at full pace, with authorities vowing no stone will be left unturned to apprehend the culprits.
