The event was organized in sync with a nationwide program televised live on Doordarshan, during which Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country and encouraged citizens to participate in the collective singing of the national song.

The live broadcast took place between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Following the Prime Minister’s inspirational message, the stirring melody of Vande Mataram filled the college premises. Under the guidance of the college principal, the event saw enthusiastic participation from the academic community. The collective singing not only highlighted the significance of the song but also served as a medium to reinforce national values among the younger generation.

Speaking on the occasion, faculty members emphasized that Vande Mataram is more than just a national song—it symbolizes the soul, identity, and glorious past of the nation. Students, too, expressed their commitment to upholding the dignity and responsibility associated with being citizens of India. Many reiterated their resolve to contribute positively to the progress and unity of the nation.

The celebration reflected the enduring relevance of Vande Mataram, which has been a source of inspiration since the days of the freedom struggle. Events like these continue to remind the youth of the sacrifices made and encourage them to uphold the ideals of patriotism, respect, and national pride.
