Pahalgam Terror Attack a Brutal Assault on Humanity: BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput Air Strike

Reacting strongly to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, BJP Rajnandgaon District President Komal Singh Rajput has described the incident as a “jihadist assault on humanity”, expressing deep sorrow and outrage over the killings of innocent civilians.

Calling the attack “cowardly, heartbreaking, and extremely unfortunate,” Rajput condemned the manner in which terrorists indiscriminately targeted Hindu tourists. “They neither asked for state nor language—only religion was their criteria before executing the brutal murders,” he said.

He further alleged that Hindus are being selectively targeted in regions like Jammu & Kashmir and West Bengal, and emphasized that such incidents should unite the nation against terrorism. “The collective voice of the country demands justice. Those responsible must be brought to justice swiftly and decisively,” he asserted.

Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Rajput said the central government is actively working to eliminate terrorism, separatism, and Naxalism. He highlighted past retaliatory actions like the surgical strikes post-Uri and the air strikes post-Pulwama, asserting that India does not tolerate attacks on its sovereignty.

Rajput expressed condolences to the families of the victims and emphasized that the nation stands with them in grief. He also appreciated the Prime Minister’s decision to cancel his foreign visit and return immediately to hold a high-level emergency meeting at the airport. Commending the swift action, he said that closing the Wagah border and suspending diplomatic and trade relations with Pakistan sends a strong signal to perpetrators and their backers.

He concluded with a firm belief that PM Modi will meet the nation’s expectations by giving a fitting response to those who challenge India’s peace and integrity.
