Under the Organization Creation Campaign launched by the All India Congress Committee (AICC), Mumbai Congress Acting President and National Spokesperson Charan Singh Sapra reached Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district to interact with party workers and explain the objectives of the campaign.
Addressing Congress members, Sapra said, “The Organization Creation Campaign is the lifeline of the Congress Party. The Congress is not weak anywhere, but it is our collective responsibility to make the party stronger and more vibrant. I have come among you as a representative of our national leadership—President Mallikarjun Kharge and our leader Rahul Gandhi.”
Sapra emphasized that the Congress has always worked with commitment for the rights of tribals, and for the protection of jal, jungle, zameen (water, forest, and land). “This region, being predominantly tribal, has shown great faith in the Congress. Your overwhelming support in the Assembly elections, and the even larger mandate in the Lok Sabha polls for Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, is historic,” he said.
Taking a sharp dig at the BJP, Sapra said, “Today, the BJP government works only to benefit its capitalist friends while attacking the rights of the working class and especially the tribal communities. We must stand united and fight strongly against such anti-people policies.”

He further stated, “The current Congress organization is not weak, but renewal and revitalization are necessary from time to time. Now is the time to do politics based on public issues. The Modi government has been forced to react to Rahul Gandhi’s people-centric agenda, including the demand for a nationwide caste census.”
Expressing concern over the state of democracy, Sapra remarked that India’s democratic credibility is at stake and it is Congress’s duty to protect it. “Whether new leadership is needed or the current one continues, that decision rests with you—the grassroots workers. My first priority is to understand the feelings and opinions of every Congress worker and leader,” he added.
