Dinesh Namdev to Represent Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh; Six Couples Already Registered

The Namdev community is set to organise its prestigious Ideal Mass Wedding Ceremony along with a Youth Introduction Conference on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Kanha Garden, Roshan Parisar, Mela Ground (in front), Indore Road, Kasrawad, Khargone district, Madhya Pradesh.
Located near Maheshwar, the ancient capital of Maa Ahilya (Mahishmati), Kasrawad—known as the city of Gangleshwar Mahadev—will host this large-scale social event aimed at promoting simplicity, unity, and collective welfare within the community.
Representing Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon district, Dinesh Namdev shared that six couples have already completed their marriage registration, and their wedding ceremonies will be solemnised at the venue on the same day.
The registered couples include: Ritu–Amit, Sonali–Ritik, Monika–Atul, Bhumika–Naman, Jeevani (Monika)–Bhupendra (Aniket), and Shruti–Rahul.

According to Dinesh Namdev, the organising committee comprises Patron Omprakash Namdev, President Narendra Namdev, Secretary Mahadev Namdev, Joint Secretary Dinesh Namdev, Treasurer Kamal Namdev, along with several office-bearers and volunteers managing various arrangements such as reception, stage, food, procession, invitations, lighting, and farewell ceremonies.
Key Guidelines of the Mass Wedding Programme
- Registration fee: ₹25,000 per bridegroom/bride side
- Child marriage strictly prohibited
- The committee will provide dowry essentials including bed, mattress, blanket, pillows, bedsheet, wardrobe, and five large utensils
- Groom will be provided a traditional turban, and bride a ceremonial chunri
- Aadhaar card, birth certificate, and two passport-size photographs are mandatory
- Marriages will be conducted as per the Gayatri ritual method
- Consumption of intoxicants at the venue is strictly prohibited
Additional arrangements, including community meals and refreshments, are being supported through donations from social contributors.
The organising committee has appealed to community members to attend the programme in large numbers, bless the newlywed couples, and contribute to the success of this collective social initiative.
