The Labour Department has been organising mobile camps across wards of urban local bodies and gram panchayats in Rajnandgaon district under the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to address workers’ concerns and facilitate access to government welfare schemes.

Camps Held in Villages and Rajnandgaon City

As part of the initiative, mobile camps are being organised in Bhatguna, Patekohara, Iraikhurd and Musarakala gram panchayats, along with Rajendra Prasad Ward No. 11 of Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation.

Through these camps, workers are being provided information about various government welfare schemes and eligible applicants are being assisted in submitting applications to avail themselves of the benefits.

Registration and Renewal Services Provided

Applications were received for registration and renewal of workers under the Chhattisgarh Unorganised Workers State Social Security Board and the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

E-Shram Registration and e-KYC

Workers were also assisted with registration through the e-Shram Saathi app. e-KYC of registered beneficiaries was conducted during the camps to help ensure that eligible workers can continue receiving benefits under government welfare programmes.

The initiative is aimed at taking labour welfare services directly to workers in rural and urban areas and reducing difficulties associated with accessing departmental services.

Workers Urged to Participate in Mobile Camps

The Assistant Labour Commissioner appealed to workers across the district to participate in the mobile camps and submit applications for new labour registration and renewal of existing registrations.

Workers can also obtain detailed information about various welfare schemes operated by the Labour Department through these camps and seek assistance with the application process.
