Mayor Madhusudan Yadav Announces ₹20 Lakh for Adivasi Kanwar Samaj Building and Development

Social recognition of talented individuals is essential because when a community honours its achievers, the younger generation is inspired to work towards bringing pride to themselves and their community, said Mayor Madhusudan Yadav while addressing the district-level annual talent felicitation ceremony organised by the Adivasi Kanwar Samaj Mahasabha.

As the chief guest at the ceremony, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav congratulated the Adivasi Kanwar Samaj for organising the event. He reiterated his commitment to extending all possible support to members of the community through Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker and Rajnandgaon MLA Dr. Raman Singh.

On the occasion, the Mayor announced ₹20 lakh for the construction and development of the building of the Adivasi Kanwar Samaj.

District-Level Annual Talent Felicitation Ceremony

The district-level annual talent felicitation ceremony was organised at the Dharamshala and Training Building of the Adivasi Kanwar Samaj, located in Ward No. 21 in the Rewadi area of Rajnandgaon city.

Mayor Madhusudan Yadav attended the programme as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Bindulal Chandravanshi, president of Kanwar Samaj Mahasabha, Rajnandgaon.

Among the other distinguished guests present were Smt. Kiran Ravindra Vaishnav, president of Zila Panchayat Rajnandgaon; Komal Singh Rajput, BJP district president, Rajnandgaon; Professor Dr. Meghraj Kapoor, chief mentor of Kanwar Samaj; councillor Ravi Sinha; councillor Smt. Beena Dhruv; former councillor Harendra Kanwar; Ravindra Vaishnav, former district BJP general secretary; Tarun Leharwani, district BJP vice-president; Uttam Talk, district BJP social media in-charge; and Raunak Katyal.

Talented Individuals Felicitated

The organising committee welcomed all distinguished guests by traditionally presenting them with safa turbans and gamchas.

Following the welcome, the guests personally honoured social talents with momentos, cash awards and certificates.

On the occasion, apart from Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Kanwar Samaj president Bindulal Chandravanshi, Smt. Kiran Vaishnav, Komal Singh Rajput and Dr. Meghraj Kapoor addressed the gathering one after another.

Members of the community informed Chief Guest Mayor Madhusudan Yadav about the need for construction of a kitchen shed and dome shed for the community’s training building and Dharamshala.

They requested a grant for the construction and development works. Mayor Madhusudan Yadav immediately announced and approved the grant from the stage for the construction and development works.
