In a focused effort to address public grievances under the Sushasan Tihar initiative, the Labour Department organized a special camp at Chaukhdia Para in Heera-Moti Ward, Rajnandgaon. The camp aimed at providing immediate solutions to citizens’ applications and facilitating access to government welfare schemes for laborers.
Present at the event were Ward Councillor Ravi Sinha, Labour Inspector Mukesh Dewangan, and other department staff. The camp successfully resolved approximately 30 applications, including those related to the issuance of new worker cards.
Among the attendees, Suman Dewangan and Vedika Hirwani applied for new Shramik Cards, while Varsha Sahu sought information regarding benefits under various government welfare schemes.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, with many bringing their Aadhaar cards and bank passbooks for verification. Labour Inspector Mukesh Dewangan stated that the camp was organized in response to numerous pending applications and was aimed at ensuring that all eligible workers receive their official identification and related benefits promptly.
Councillor Ravi Sinha emphasized the importance of such outreach programs, saying, “Under Sushasan Tihar, we are committed to resolving public issues efficiently. The Labour Department has acted swiftly to provide worker cards and address the concerns of laborers in the area.”
The initiative marks a significant step in bringing governance closer to the people, ensuring transparency and ease in accessing government services.
