She further stated that the state government had arranged a special train from Rajnandgaon railway station to Ayodhya Dham, with excellent arrangements for meals and refreshments throughout the journey. Adequate arrangements were also made for accommodation and local travel at the pilgrimage destinations. She noted that this initiative of the Chhattisgarh government is being appreciated even in other states.
Calling the scheme a pious and commendable initiative, Mrs. Chandel said it is especially beneficial for senior citizens, persons with disabilities and economically weaker families who otherwise may not be able to visit Ayodhya Dham. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai for providing the opportunity of free pilgrimage and added that all pilgrims were taken good care of throughout the journey.
