In compliance with state government directives, Employment and Housing Day will now be organized on the 7th of every month in all gram panchayats across Rajnandgaon district to spread awareness about employment, housing, and livelihood-related welfare schemes. As part of this initiative, an Employment and Housing Day programme was successfully held in Harnasinghi village of Dongargarh block.

During the programme, beneficiaries approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) were informed about their sanctioned houses through a public reading of names. Officials provided detailed information regarding installment payments for house construction, wage payments under MGNREGA, availability of construction materials, and facilities offered through inter-departmental convergence. Beneficiaries were also given technical guidance to ensure timely and quality completion of housing units.
