The Digital Crop Survey is being implemented at the field level by surveyors, who are required to physically visit each farm, record crop details, and upload photographs via the application. This data is later verified by patwaris and senior officials to ensure authenticity. The system aims to provide a realistic assessment of crops and accurate land-related information.

Highlighting the benefits, Collector Prajapati said the Digital Crop Survey will bring multiple advantages to farmers. Crop insurance schemes and damage assessments can now be conducted in a more transparent and scientific manner. Eligible farmers will also be able to access government schemes more quickly.

Additionally, the survey will help build a modern database of crop production, which will strengthen future procurement of paddy and assist in shaping effective agricultural policies. Farmers will also receive timely technical guidance and financial support, thereby improving overall agricultural planning and productivity in the district.

The Collector emphasized that with the successful implementation of the survey, the region would not only achieve accurate crop data but also ensure that farmers directly benefit from welfare schemes without unnecessary delays.
