Officials directed to ensure timely and quality resolution of applications received from citizens

Collector Jitendra Yadav heard the grievances and demands of citizens from different parts of Rajnandgaon district during the weekly Jan Darshan programme held at the Collectorate on Tuesday.
Citizens from both rural and urban areas submitted applications related to various personal, social and administrative issues. After reviewing the applications, the Collector directed concerned departmental officials to take necessary action and ensure their prompt and quality resolution.
Collector Stresses Time-Bound Disposal of Applications
Collector Jitendra Yadav said Jan Darshan is an important platform for resolving the problems of the general public. He instructed officials to examine every application seriously and ensure disposal in accordance with rules within the prescribed timeframe.

He emphasised that citizens approach the administration with expectations and trust, making it the responsibility of officials to respond to their concerns with sensitivity and seriousness.
Applications Related to Housing, Revenue and Social Security
Several applications were received during the Jan Darshan concerning Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana benefits, land acquisition cases, removal of illegal encroachments, Nazul land issues, social security pensions and correction of revenue records.
Citizens also submitted applications seeking benefits under various government welfare schemes and requesting solutions to individual as well as community-level issues.

Officials Asked to Monitor Disposal
The Collector directed all departmental officers to give priority to applications received during Jan Darshan and ensure that eligible beneficiaries are connected with appropriate government welfare schemes.
He also instructed officials to regularly monitor the progress of applications and provide applicants with information about the action taken within the stipulated timeframe.
The administration reiterated its focus on ensuring that public grievances are addressed efficiently, transparently and within the prescribed timelines.
