During his visit, Dr. Bhure reviewed vacant government land in the wards for the construction of approach roads and for executing various state-run schemes. He instructed officials to verify land ownership using khasra maps and to gather data on adjacent private lands, if any, to ensure seamless execution of developmental projects. “Government land must be utilized in the public interest,” Dr. Bhure stated.
A special site near the Nagar Sena office in Dhaba was also inspected for the proposed construction of an athletics synthetic track, signaling a push towards improved sports infrastructure.
Urban Parks Under the Lens
Continuing his inspection, Dr. Bhure visited prominent urban parks including Shivaji Park, Triveni Complex, Pushpavatika, Chowpatty, Krishna Kunj, R.K. Nagar Garden, Amrit Udyan, and Nehru Park. Noting the deteriorating condition of several amenities, he directed the municipal staff to repair pathways, restore play equipment, and ensure proper lighting and cleanliness across all parks.

He further emphasized pre-monsoon preparations for tree plantation drives to enhance green cover. “Parks are essential for public recreation and well-being. Their upkeep must be a civic priority,” he said, urging timely maintenance and cleanliness.
The inspection team included Executive Engineers U.K. Ramteke and Sanjay Verma, Assistant Engineer Pranay Meshram, and Assistant Project Engineer Garima Verma, among others.
