“Patient Care Must Be the First Priority,” Says Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure

Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure chaired a crucial meeting at the Collectorate conference hall today, instructing Government Medical College and the District Hospital to establish better coordination to ensure improved healthcare facilities for patients.
During the meeting, the Collector emphasized that treatment of patients must remain the foremost priority. He directed that medico-legal cases (MLCs) should be handled by the District Hospital, and in cases where referrals are necessary, patients must be transferred under the supervision of doctors with proper ambulance facilities.
Dr. Bhure highlighted the need for continuous dialogue and regular meetings between the institutions to resolve challenges and strengthen healthcare delivery for the general public. To ensure accountability, he appointed the Civil Surgeon as the nodal officer for monitoring and designated the RHO to facilitate coordination between the two hospitals.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Collector Prakash Tandon, Joint Director and Hospital Superintendent Dr. Atul Deshkar, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Pawan Jethani, Department Head Dr. Meena Armo, Civil Surgeon Dr. U.S. Chandravanshi, along with other senior doctors and officials.
