Stresses Accuracy, Transparency and Timely Benefits for Farmers

Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure carried out a surprise inspection of the ongoing Digital Crop Survey at village Maharajpur under Chhuria development block on Saturday. The inspection was conducted at Khasra No. 75/2 in Patwari Halka No. 15, where surveyors were engaged in documenting crop data.
The Collector reviewed the process in which surveyors capture photographs of fields and standing crops using mobile applications and upload them directly to the Bhu-Abhilekh (land records) portal. He also examined the approval process carried out through the Tehsildar’s ID.

Dr. Bhure instructed the surveyors to ensure utmost seriousness, accuracy, and error-free data collection. He emphasized that survey operations must be continuously monitored, with assessments reflecting quality, precision, and factual accuracy. Highlighting the importance of digital surveys, he noted that the initiative will help farmers access government schemes and benefits more swiftly and transparently.
Accompanying him during the inspection were Dongargaon SDM Shrikant Korram, Tehsildar Vijay Kothari, and other district officials.
