Silver Jubilee of State Formation to Feature Development Exhibitions and Cultural Performances

The Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day celebrations—Rajyotsav 2025—will take place on 2, 3 and 4 November at the Sarveshwardas Municipal Higher Secondary School Ground (Municipal School Ground) in Rajnandgaon. The event marks 25 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh and will be celebrated as the Silver Jubilee Year of the state.

The inaugural ceremony on 2 November will commence at 6 PM. The Chief Guest for the occasion will be Dr. Raman Singh, Hon’ble Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The event will be presided over by Rajnandgaon MP Shri Santosh Pandey. Distinguished guests will include MLAs Shri Daleshwar Sahu (Dongargaon), Shri Bholaram Sahu (Khujji), and Smt. Harshita Swami Baghel (Dongargarh), along with Mayor Shri Madhusudan Yadav, and senior representatives of various state welfare and development boards.

As part of the celebration, a Development Exhibition showcasing important government schemes and successful welfare initiatives will be organized from 11 AM onward on the first day. The Chief Guest will visit the exhibition at 6 PM followed by the inaugural ceremony and welcome addresses.

Between 7 PM and 7:30 PM, benefits and materials will be distributed to eligible beneficiaries of various departments. The evening will conclude with a grand cultural performance featuring renowned folk singer Aaru Sahu, from 7:30 PM to 10 PM.

On 3 and 4 November, the development exhibitions will continue from 11 AM, followed by cultural performances from 4 PM onward. The district administration has appealed to citizens to participate in large numbers and make the celebration a grand success.
