Acting on a nationwide and state-level call by the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha, and under the direction of BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, members of the BJP’s farmers’ wing staged a protest against so-called farmer leader Naresh Tikait by burning his effigy at Manav Mandir Chowk on Wednesday at noon.

District President of BJP Kisan Morcha, Hirendra Sahu, stated that Tikait’s recent statement falls under the category of treason and pro-Pakistan rhetoric, which cannot be tolerated. “The BJP Kisan Morcha strongly condemns his statement and demands strictest action in the interest of national integrity,” he said.

Following the effigy burning, the Morcha submitted a memorandum addressed to the Hon’ble President of India via the District Collector, calling for immediate and decisive action against Tikait.

Several prominent leaders and members of the BJP and its Kisan Morcha were present at the event, including Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, Santosh Agrawal, Hirendra Sahu, Ghasi Sahu, Dadu Sonkar, Paras Verma, Manish Soni, Mohar Das Sahu, Sukrit Sahu, Dilip Sahu, Prakhar Srivastava, Golu Gupta, Ashokaditya Srivastava, Balwant Saab, Prince Bhatia, Sumit Ajmani, Damu Bhutada, Praveen Shukla, Gitesh Gupta, Jeevan Chaturvedi, Ravi Sinha, Raja Mankheeja, Shanky Bagga, Shiv Verma, Vijay Rai, Dileshwar Prasad Sahu, Santosh Sahu, Digvijay Sahu, Khilawan Sahu, Hriday Ram Chandravanshi, Dileshwar Manikpuri, and many others from the BJP Kisan Morcha.

The protest reflected the Morcha’s firm stand against what they labeled as divisive and anti-national sentiments, reiterating their unwavering support for national unity and integrity.
