The approval of 3.65 lakh new Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses for Chhattisgarh by Union Rural Development and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, along with the simultaneous Griha Pravesh of 2 lakh families, has been welcomed by BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput as a historic step towards the welfare and well-being of poor and homeless families in the state.
Komal Singh Rajput said the effective leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his sensitive approach towards the welfare of the poor are becoming a means of transforming the lives of crores of families. He said the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a direct reflection of this commitment.
For poor families, he said, a permanent house is not merely a structure but the foundation of dignity, security, self-respect and a better future.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to provide a permanent roof to every needy family in the country, and the BJP government in Chhattisgarh, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is implementing this commitment with full dedication on the ground.

Timely Completion and Griha Pravesh Key to Good Governance
Praising the working style of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Rajput said approving houses alone is not sufficient. Ensuring their timely completion and enabling beneficiaries to enter their homes, he said, is the real measure of good governance.
He said continuous monitoring of PMAY house construction, assistance to beneficiaries and efforts to accelerate construction under Chief Minister Sai’s leadership are producing positive results across the state.
‘Modi Ki Guarantee, Sai Ka Sushasan—Poor Families Getting Their Own Homes’
Komal Singh Rajput said the outcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s good governance is that the dreams of poor families in Chhattisgarh are no longer confined to paperwork but are taking shape as permanent houses.
He said the simultaneous Griha Pravesh of two lakh families is not merely a government programme, but the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of two lakh families.
Families that had waited for years for the dream of owning a home are now witnessing happiness in their courtyards and have a permanent roof over their heads, he said.
The BJP district president said the approval of 3.65 lakh new houses conveys a new message of trust and hope to poor families across Chhattisgarh.
For the initiative, he expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Dr Raman Singh.
