Funds sanctioned for roads, community buildings, sheds and other infrastructure across Dongargarh, Chhuria and Rajnandgaon blocks

Under the Chief Minister Integrated Rural Development Scheme, administrative approval amounting to ₹89 lakh 47 thousand has been granted for various development works in rural areas of Rajnandgaon district. The approval was issued by District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Smt. Suruchi Singh with the aim of strengthening basic infrastructure and improving civic amenities in villages.
In Dongargarh development block, projects worth ₹20.12 lakh have been sanctioned. These include construction of a CC road in village Ghothiya at a cost of ₹2.60 lakh, shed construction in village Achholi for ₹3 lakh, a stage (rangmanch) in village Dodki for ₹3 lakh, a commercial complex in village Pendri for ₹8.92 lakh, and a CC road in village Kasari costing ₹2.60 lakh.
For Chhuria development block, the highest allocation of ₹54.35 lakh has been approved for works in multiple villages. The sanctioned projects include shed construction in villages Chircharikala, Purramtola and Gahirabhendi at ₹3.75 lakh each, a culvert construction in Purramtola costing ₹7 lakh, shed construction in Aamgaon (Ku.) and Shikarimahka at ₹3 lakh each, community buildings in Bamhani Charbhantha, Shikaritola and Markakasa at ₹6.50 lakh each, a passenger waiting shed in Atargaon for ₹5 lakh, a CC road in Pandetola at ₹2.60 lakh, and shed construction in village Khobha for ₹3 lakh.

In Rajnandgaon development block, works worth ₹15 lakh have been approved. These include CC road construction in village Sundara at ₹7.80 lakh, CC road construction in village Basula for ₹5.20 lakh, and shed construction in Basula at a cost of ₹2 lakh.
The district administration has directed the concerned construction agencies to complete all works within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring quality standards. Officials stated that these projects will significantly contribute to rural infrastructure development and improve facilities for local residents.
