Under the Good Governance Week – ‘Administration to the Village’ campaign, a public service camp was organised at Gram Panchayat Baghera in Rajnandgaon block with the objective of delivering Central and State Government schemes to the last mile beneficiaries.
As part of the ongoing Good Governance Week – Administration to the Village 2025, camps are being organised across the district, where applications received from villagers are being addressed and resolved by the concerned departments. The initiative aims to ensure that welfare schemes effectively reach rural citizens at their doorstep.

The camp at Baghera witnessed participation from villagers of 27 Gram Panchayats. Various government departments set up information stalls to create awareness about ongoing schemes and to facilitate on-the-spot benefits.
During the camp, approval letters under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) were distributed to newly sanctioned beneficiaries. In addition, housewarming (Griha Pravesh) ceremonies were conducted for beneficiaries whose rural houses have been successfully completed under the scheme.
