From Southall’s bustling curry houses to Wembley’s iconic stadium, the desi diaspora brought out their dhol-tasha, colorful rangolis, and infectious energy to celebrate India’s unstoppable rise on the global stage.

The event was a proper desi affair, with aunties in shimmering sarees and uncles in kurta-pajamas cheering alongside youngsters sporting India jerseys. Bhangra troupes set the stage on fire, while Gujarati garba circles and Tamil folk performances added a kaleidoscope of India’s rich culture. The air was thick with the aroma of samosas and jalebis from pop-up stalls, as the community came together to laud India’s progress in tech, economy, and global clout.

Visibly touched, the Prime Minister joined the festivities, sharing a light moment over chai and praising the diaspora for keeping India’s sanskriti alive in vilayat. “Your passion is India’s strength, binding us across samundars,” he said, sparking cheers that could rival a Diwali pataka.
