BJP leaders and citizens in Rajnandgaon gathered in large numbers to celebrate the Indian Army’s surgical strikes on nine terror camps across the Pakistani border. The event, held at Mahakal Chowk, featured fireworks, sweet distribution, and patriotic slogans in support of India’s armed forces.
The rally began at Jay Stambh Chowk and proceeded to Mahakal Chowk-Manav Mandir, where BJP MP Santosh Pandey, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav, district BJP president Komal Singh Rajput, and other senior party leaders like Khubchand Parkh and Santosh Agrawal participated. The leaders and BJP workers chanted slogans such as “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Pakistan Murdabad,” while waving the Indian flag and saluting the bravery of Indian soldiers.
Mayor Yadav praised Prime Minister Modi’s tough stance against terrorism and said the surgical strike, executed through a joint operation by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, had the full support of 1.4 billion Indians.
MP Santosh Pandey, through a poetic speech, highlighted the courage of the nation, referring to the recent terror incident in Pahalgam. He recounted an emotional moment involving a survivor and emphasized India’s strong military retaliation, noting that several notorious terrorists were neutralized.
BJP district president Komal Singh Rajput termed the operation—code-named Operation Sindoor—as a vital move for national security. He stated that it is a matter of pride for every patriotic Indian and that the entire country stands united with its armed forces.
The event also saw the participation of numerous BJP office bearers, local representatives, members of the Mahila Morcha, and a large number of civilians who expressed their solidarity with the military and celebrated the success of the operation with enthusiasm and pride.
