As part of the ongoing Su-Shasan Tihar 2025 initiative, a citizen grievance redressal and service delivery camp was organized today in Wards 14, 24, 25, 26, and 27 of Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation. The camp proved to be highly beneficial for local residents, particularly daily wage workers and laborers.
During the camp, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure personally handed over a labor card (Shramik Card) to beneficiary Mrs. Kiran Ramteke, who expressed her joy and gratitude on receiving the card. The card provides access to a range of welfare schemes run by the Labor Department for registered workers.
At the camp, officers from the Labor Department facilitated on-the-spot registration of eligible workers and issued labor cards immediately. The event was held at the State School, Rajnandgaon, where labor beneficiaries were also given detailed information about the department’s schemes, including social security benefits, health assistance, and financial aid for education and maternity.
Officials addressed labor-related grievances and ensured that workers were aware of the support systems available under various government schemes. These camps are part of a larger statewide campaign to promote transparent, effective, and citizen-centric governance in Chhattisgarh.
The Government of Chhattisgarh, through Su-Shasan Tihar 2025, aims to strengthen good governance, ensure rapid redressal of public grievances, review the implementation of welfare schemes, and enhance direct communication with citizens. Camps are being conducted across the state to ensure that public service delivery is time-bound, efficient, and inclusive.
This initiative reflects the state administration’s strong commitment to establishing transparency, accountability, and responsive governance at every level. By connecting directly with the public, the government aims to resolve issues promptly and empower citizens through seamless access to welfare programs.
