The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise a large public awareness march in Rajnandgaon on Sunday as part of its ongoing ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign. Through the march, the party aims to counter what it describes as the opposition’s politics of creating disorder, misleading propaganda and attempts to create confusion among people about democratic institutions.
The BJP district team, under the leadership of Khuchand Parakh, has been actively working on the campaign through seven different initiatives. Rajendra Golchha, Saurabh Kothari, Tarun Laharwani, M.D. Thakur and Raman Dongre are among those involved in these efforts.
Senior BJP Leaders to Participate in the March
March in-charge and Mayor Madhusudan Yadav said that the public awareness march scheduled for November 1 will be attended by District In-charge Minister Gajendra Yadav, former MLA Shivratan Sharma and MLA Bhavana Bohra.
BJP office-bearers, public representatives, party workers and citizens from across the district are expected to participate.
Vehicles arriving from different parts of the district will assemble at the State School premises. The march will begin at 11 am from Mahavir Chowk, proceed through Manav Mandir Chowk and reach Ganj Chowk, where it will turn into a public meeting.
District In-charge Minister and Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, Shivratan Sharma, Bhavana Bohra and other senior leaders will address the gathering.
Khubchand Parakh Says Campaign Will Counter Opposition’s Claims
Campaign in-charge Khubchand Parakh said the objective of the march is to expose what the BJP describes as opposition misinformation and create public awareness about democratic values.
He alleged that the Congress and other opposition parties were attempting to mislead people through what he termed baseless allegations of vote theft. He said the BJP would respond to these allegations with facts and present what it described as the opposition’s political conspiracies before the public.

BJP District President Criticises Congress
BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput said the Congress’s policies and functioning had remained a matter of concern for the country’s unity, integrity and democratic traditions.
He alleged that instead of strengthening national unity, the Congress was pursuing divisive politics and creating an atmosphere of confusion and distrust in society. In contrast, he said, the BJP was committed to preserving India’s cultural heritage, national pride and traditions.
Appeal for Public Participation
Members of the march organising team—Monu Bahadur Singh, Kiran Sahu, Jagriti Yadu, Sanjay Sinha, Ranjita Padoti, Rajesh Shyamkar and Devendra Sahu—appealed to BJP office-bearers, party workers and citizens who believe in national interest to participate in large numbers.
They urged people to make the awareness campaign a success and strengthen the message of democratic values and opposition to what the party describes as political anarchy.
