Vice President Transfers ₹647.28 Crore to 69.15 Lakh Beneficiaries Under Mahtari Vandan & Niyad Nellanar Yojana

At the Lakhpati Didi Conference in Rajnandgaon, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan presses the DBT transfer button for the 21st installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana and the first installment of Niyad Nellanar Yojana.

Vice President of India Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan today participated in the Lakhpati Didi Conference held at the State School Ground in Rajnandgaon. On this occasion, he transferred a total amount of ₹647,28,36,500 to 69,15,273 beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the 21st monthly installment for November 2025 was transferred to 69,07,615 eligible women beneficiaries, amounting to ₹646,52,10,000.

Additionally, under the Niyad Nellanar Yojana, the Vice President transferred ₹76,26,500 as the first installment to 7,658 beneficiaries.

The programme was attended by Governor Shri Ramen Deka, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, Health & Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, along with senior officials and public representatives.


Mahtari Vandan Yojana: Financial Support to Women

The Mahtari Vandan Yojana, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 10, 2024, provides ₹1,000 per month to eligible women across the state.
In this 21st installment, district-wise transfers included:

  • Balod: 2,49,036 beneficiaries | ₹22.97 crore
  • Baloda Bazar: 3,26,049 beneficiaries | ₹30.84 crore
  • Bilaspur: 4,20,617 beneficiaries | ₹39.38 crore
  • Durg: 3,99,681 beneficiaries | ₹38.11 crore
  • Raipur: 5,27,334 beneficiaries | ₹50.81 crore
  • Rajnandgaon: 2,54,992 beneficiaries | ₹24.08 crore
  • …and all other districts of Chhattisgarh, totaling ₹646.52 crore to women across the state.

Niyad Nellanar Yojana: First Installment Released

Under the Niyad Nellanar Yojana, the first installment was transferred to 7,658 beneficiaries, including:

  • Bijapur: 3,872 beneficiaries | ₹38.71 lakh
  • Sukma: 2,608 beneficiaries | ₹26.02 lakh
  • Narayanpur, Dantewada, Kanker and others — totaling ₹76.26 lakh.
