A Surya Sabha was organised in Keshotola village of Chhuriya block to promote the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. Collector Jitendra Yadav explained the registration, vendor selection, loan, subsidy and billing process to villagers. Rajnandgaon district has so far received 10,698 applications, with 5,036 solar plants installed and 3,575 beneficiaries receiving subsidies.
