Rajnandgaon resident and Energy Department representative Rupchand Bhimanani reported significant savings after installing a 3-kW rooftop solar plant, calling the initiative a visionary step toward energy self-reliance and environmental sustainability.

The Rajnandgaon district administration has invited online technical and financial bids for sand mining allocation under the reverse auction system, with submissions open until November 12 and tender opening scheduled for November 13 at the Collectorate.
