In what is being described as the biggest anti-Naxal operation in India’s history, around 10,000 security personnel have surrounded nearly 1,000 armed Maoist insurgents in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region. The encounter, which has already resulted in multiple casualties, is ongoing and expected to intensify in the coming days.
In a transformative move for industrial development, Rajnandgaon district is set to witness the establishment of two landmark projects—an Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) worth ₹350 crore in village Patewa, and Chhattisgarh’s first-ever Space Manufacturing Cluster (SMC) worth ₹25 crore in village Bijetla. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister and the State's Minister of Commerce & Industries for this visionary initiative aimed at boosting employment, innovation, and global competitiveness.
