उत्तर प्रदेश की योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार मिर्जापुर का नाम बदलकर ‘विंध्याचल धाम’ करने की तैयारी के अंतिम चरण में पहुँच गई है। जिला प्रशासनिक समिति ने प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दे दी है और अब इसे कैबिनेट के समक्ष पेश किया जाएगा। दशकों पुरानी इस मांग के पीछे मां विंध्यवासिनी धाम की धार्मिक महिमा, त्रिकोण दर्शन की परंपरा और क्षेत्र की सांस्कृतिक पहचान को सशक्त करना मुख्य कारण हैं। नाम बदलाव से धार्मिक पर्यटन और स्थानीय अर्थव्यवस्था में तेज उछाल की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है।

In a spiritually charged ceremony in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav attended a grand mass wedding where 21 couples—including his son Dr. Abhimanyu Yadav and daughter-in-law Dr. Eshita Yadav—entered into holy matrimony with full Vedic rituals. The event, celebrated as a symbol of Sanatan culture, social harmony, and equality, witnessed thousands of devotees and dignitaries blessing the newly-weds under the divine grace of Lord Mahakal and Lord Gopal Krishna.

Under Collector Jitendra Yadav’s strict directives, joint teams of Revenue, Food, and Mandi Departments seized 215.60 quintals of illegal paddy on Saturday. With this, total seizures in the current season have touched 123 cases across the district.

Illegal sand excavation has resurfaced in Dongargaon, prompting the Rajnandgaon district administration to launch strict enforcement measures. Multiple vehicles transporting illegally mined sand have been seized in back-to-back operations.
