The Sushasan Tihar public grievance redressal camp proved to be a positive and beneficial experience for Sumine Taram, Sushila Mandavi, and Panchvati Taram, residents of the remote village of Job in Chhuriya development block.
During the camp, organized under the ongoing Sushasan Tihar 2026 initiative, the women successfully completed their e-KYC process for LPG connections under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
The beneficiaries expressed happiness over the quick completion of the formalities at the camp itself.
Women Describe Benefits of LPG Connections
Panchvati Taram said that receiving an LPG connection under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana has brought significant convenience to her household.
She stated that meals are now prepared quickly for family members, resulting in considerable time savings.
Earlier, she explained, cooking on traditional wood-fired stoves required collecting firewood from forests, and the smoke often caused irritation and redness in the eyes.

She described the scheme as highly beneficial for women living in rural areas.
Beneficiaries Praise Government Outreach Camps
Sushila Mandavi said her e-KYC process for the Ujjwala scheme was completed smoothly during the camp.
She described the scheme as a “gift” for rural women, stating that faster cooking now allows the entire family to sit together and have meals comfortably.
Appreciating the grievance redressal camp, she said such initiatives are extremely helpful for poor and needy citizens, as several services are being delivered efficiently at one location.
According to her, facilities related to:
- Mahtari Vandan Yojana
- Ayushman Cards
- Ration Cards
- Other government schemes
are being processed quickly through the camp.
Families Experience Positive Change
Sumine Taram also shared that receiving the LPG connection has greatly benefited her family, as food can now be prepared immediately, creating a happier atmosphere at home.
The three beneficiaries collectively expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai for implementing the scheme.
They stated that the government has paid special attention to the needs of women and that the scheme has helped free them from smoke-related hardships associated with traditional cooking methods.
