Summer Sports Training Camp Concludes at Kamala College, Rajnandgaon

The Summer Sports Training Camp organized by Kamaladevi Rathi Government Women’s Postgraduate College, Rajnandgaon, came to a successful close today. Held from April 7 to April 29, 2025, the camp offered structured training in kabaddi, badminton, yoga, and archery for school and college students, drawing significant participation from across the district.

The valedictory ceremony was held at 9:00 AM in the college’s badminton hall, where Principal Dr. Alok Mishra graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event was also attended by kabaddi coaches Lalit Sahu and Sanjay Shah Mandavi, archery coaches Rahul Sahu and Kushal Rajat, and yoga instructors Khilendra Soni and Deshmukh.

In his address, Dr. Mishra expressed happiness over the enthusiasm shown by the participants and lauded the dedication of the coaches who conducted training sessions both in the mornings and evenings. Sports Officer Dr. Neeta S. Nair shared that many students trained under the kabaddi coaches have gone on to represent the district and state in state-level and national-level tournaments. She added that for several years, Kamala College students have been representing Hemchand Yadav University in kabaddi and archery competitions.

A total of 75 students were awarded certificates of participation, and the coaches were felicitated with mementos in recognition of their contributions.
