A meeting of the Maheshwari Panchayat Rajnandgaon was held in a cordial and harmonious atmosphere at the Maheshwari Bhawan, where community members unanimously elected Satyanarayan Daga as the new President of the Maheshwari Panchayat Rajnandgaon.

Seventy years old Satyanarayan Daga, son of late Shankarlal Daga, better known as Sattu Daga is a resident of Suncity, Rajnandgaon. He has remained actively associated with social activities for many years. Known for his simple, approachable and amiable personality, Daga enjoys a wide social circle and maintains cordial relations with people from different sections of society. His active involvement in community affairs and his ability to connect easily with people have earned him considerable goodwill and popularity.

The meeting was chaired by Gopal Daga, while election officers Moti Soni and Vinod Sadani briefed the members about the election procedure. During the meeting, Suryakant Chitlangia proposed Satyanarayan Daga’s name for the post of President, highlighting his social involvement, organisational abilities and working style.

The proposal received unanimous support from the members present, following which Satyanarayan Daga was formally declared elected unopposed. Community office-bearers, senior members and others present congratulated him and extended their best wishes for his tenure.
Among those present on the occasion were former President Brij Kishore Surjan, Pawan Daga, Sagar Chitlangia, Rajendra Ladha, Purushottam Gandhi, Sanjay Ladha, Anand Lohia, Santosh Daga, Arun Daga, Ashish Gandhi, Deepak Daga, Om Prakash Daga, Ashish Soni, Nandu Soni, Manoj Ladha, Prahlad Ladha, Kamal Mundra, Radheshyam Daga, Sitaram Daga, Govind Malani, Sushil Dhoot, Chandrakant Chitlangia, Hansraj Gangad, Manoj Porwal, Ramesh Daga, Vikas Daga, Sanjay Porwal, Harsh Chitlangia, Om Prakash Ladha and Gagan Ladha, along with a large number of community members.

Former National Treasurer of the Maheshwari community and senior social worker Damodardas Mundra congratulated Satyanarayan Daga on being entrusted with the new responsibility. Former MP Pradeep Gandhi also conveyed his best wishes and expressed hope for a successful tenure.

The unopposed election of Satyanarayan Daga is being viewed as a reflection of mutual trust and unity within the community. Members expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Maheshwari Panchayat Rajnandgaon will further strengthen social harmony, expand organisational activities and give greater momentum to initiatives aimed at community welfare and public service.
